Matthew Flame, 20, is expected to be charged this morning with the death of 26-year old Liam Anderson.

Anderson was an aspiring rapper, and one of the four children of Rose Tattoo’s Angry Anderson.

Police were called to a fight in Queenscliff at 6am yesterday where they found Liam suffering from severe head injuries.

Liam was attended to by paramedics but died before being loaded into the waiting air ambulance.

Reports have suggested that Flame and Liam Anderson were good friends, with the pair posting photos of each other on their social media pages and the two attended Sydney’s Defqon.1 festival in September.

Detective inspector Michael Boutouridis said the suspect was so violent that it took a number of officers to calm him down with capsicum spray.

When asked if the attack was drug-fuelled, the officer replied, “It’s still early in the investigation but it’s quite possible, yes.”

Rose Tattoo had finished playing the Charles Hotel in Perth on Saturday night when his eldest son rang Angry to inform of the tragedy.

The singer rushed back, and Tatts management issued a statement that he would not be making a comment.

Rose Tattoo are in the midst of a hectic round of touring and are re-recording the first Tatts album with the current lineup.

There has been no updates as yet of the future of the immediate shows in NSW this weekend.
