STUMPS join the Select Music booking roster

Sydney indie-rock trio STUMPS has signed a new booking deal with Select Music.

The band, who was formerly represented by Vita Music, join the likes of RÜFÜS DU SOL, Lime Cordiale, Amy Shark, Ball Park Music, The Jungle Giants and Skegss on the Select Music roster, with booking agent Jimmy Kleiner handling all bookings.

News of the signing coincides with STUMPS’ announcement of their I’ve Had Enough tour, with their debut full-length All My Friends being released via Cooking Vinyl Australia late last year.

Select Music’s Jimmy Kleiner celebrated the partnership between the two parties and spoke of the band’s artistic growth in recent years.

“I’ve been waving the STUMPS flag as a fan for years now, so joining the team as the band’s agent now is truly exciting for me,” Kleiner said.

“I’ve watched them grow from their first release right up until a sold-out album tour. The material is strong, tickets are selling, but most importantly – the band are genuine people. Behind them is a strong manager, Beau Somers, who continues to hammer home results for STUMPS.”

The Sydney-based three-piece also commented on the signing, noting their longstanding affiliation with booking agent Kleiner.

“Jimmy has been a very close friend of ours for many years and we have watched him develop into an excellent agent,” STUMPS said.

“We are so pumped to now be working with him and we are very humbled to be a part of the Select music roster.”
