Spotify ANZ’s sales boss Andrea Ingham departs
Andrea Ingham, Spotify Australia and New Zealand’s national sales director, has left the company to pursue “other opportunities” after nearly three years in the role.
After jumping from Southern Cross Austereo where she was national sales chief for two years, Ingham joined Spotify in 2015 to head the local sales division, replacing David Raitt.
A Spotify spokesperson wrote: “I can confirm that Andrea Ingham has left Spotify to pursue other opportunities and we wish her the best of luck in future endeavours.”
Before SCA, Ingham worked in radio, TV and agencies in multiple key sales and management positions, which saw her as Nine Network’s Sydney sales director and national sales manager for Regional Mediaworks.
Her responsibilities during her tenure at the streaming giant included driving ad sales revenue and strategy.
She was also involved in the Spotify House initiative, as well as Australia’s Spotify Ad Studio, which launched earlier this month.
The news comes a year after Jane Huxley was appointed as Spotify’s managing director.
Ingham’s replacement has not yet been announced.
