SOTD: Lady Antebellum chase chart return with new single

Lady Antebellum – long-time favourites of the country music genre – have released a brand new single titled ‘What If I Never Get Over You’.

The track is the first grab from the trio’s upcoming eighth studio album, and the first to be released via Big Machine Label Group (UMA). 

It was confirmed in September last year that the group had parted ways with Capitol Nashville after a decade with the label.   

With a distinct throwback to earlier works, ‘What If I Never Get Over You’ is a quintessential Lady A tune. The single was written by Sam Ellis, Jon Green, Ryan Hurd and Laura Veltz, and produced by Dann Huff.  

Country radio in Australia has avidly supported the group over the years, producing five #1 singles on the TMN Country Chart (‘American Honey’, ‘Hello World’, ‘Dancin’ Away With My Heart’, ‘Just A Kiss’, ‘Bartender’).

‘Need You Now’ enjoyed commercial radio crossover success, peaking at #50 on the TMN Hot 100 in 2009.
