SOTD: Brad Paisley is high on love & full of faith on ‘My Miracle’

Brad Paisley is a once-in-a-generation country music star.

In his native USA, the guitar-slinger has 19 Billboard Country Airplay Chart #1s and owns the record for the most consecutive singles to reach the summit (10).

Australia has also been a happy hunting ground for Paisley. The Sony act has lodged 14 Top 10s on the TMN Country Airplay Chart, reaching the summit on two occasions.

2019 sees Paisley back at his best on latest single ‘My Miracle’, a mellow, slick and well-crafted love song dedicated to his wife of 16 years. 

‘My Miracle’ shows off Paisley’s aptitude with a six string (just wait for the guitar solos) and proves he has a penchant for writing musically intricate yet easily digestible country music numbers. 

“I can be a little ornery when it comes to writing love songs,” Paisley said upon release. “I don’t typically put it all out there, but in this one I did.

“This is the most powerful statement I think I can make. The one I wrote it for, she is my worst critic typically, but in this case, I think I got it right.”
