Ex-Secret Service publicist Shari Hindmarsh launches new agency Great Company Collective
Music PR expert Shari Hindmarsh has launched her own public relations company, Great Company Collective, focusing on music, arts and lifestyle brands.
Hindmarsh has extensive experience in the music PR scene, having been a senior publicist for Secret Service PR and Secret Sounds. Following that, she joined the team at Daydream Nation, a boutique PR agency launched by former Secret Service publicist Stacey Piggott.
In her career as a publicist, Hindmarsh has overseen campaigns for music heavyweights Halsey, The 1975, Lewis Capaldi, Mumford & Sons, Ruel and Angus & Julia Stone, as well as the festivals Falls, Strawberry Fields and Yours & Owls.
Great Company Collective will work with brands on public relations, profile building and positioning, radio servicing and feature coverage across all media platforms.
“I’m really excited to launch Great Company Collective in 2021 and am looking forward to working alongside a like-minded collective of storytellers and collaborators. I think there is currently an amazing opportunity to re-imagine the way in which we work and create,” Hindmarsh said in a statement.
“At GCC, we’re seeing this as a re-birth of the creative industries which will spark limitless possibilities – it’s something to be inspired by and we think the future looks bright in an evolving world.”
