Stacey Piggott launches new biz after departing Secret Sounds
PR supremo Stacey Piggott has launched an independent boutique PR and marketing agency after parting ways with Secret Sounds in March, The Music Network can reveal.
Daydream Nation will specialise in music, entertainment, digital strategy, crisis management, brand integration, personal profile and small to large-scale events.
Piggott ran her Two Fish Out Of Water agency for 15 years before merging with Secret Service PR in 2014, to take the roles of SSPR director and head of PR at Secret Sounds.
Daydream Nation includes Alycia Emmerson as head of marketing, Shari Hindmarsh as senior account director and Parisse Toledo as publicist. All four worked together at Secret Sounds.
“We are really excited to bring Daydream Nation and our collective creative services to the entertainment industry,” said Piggott.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer a team that can roll out comprehensive and cohesive PR and marketing campaigns under the one roof for our clients.
“Alycia, Shari and I have been working closely together on campaigns for years now, so close we sometimes finish each other’s sentences, we know what the other is thinking before they speak!
“And Parisse fits perfectly into this well-oiled machine.”
The team at Daydream Nation have worked on campaigns for leading brands, music festivals, international and local artists, food and wine events, sports personalities and comedians.
Piggott and the SSPR team have previously worked on campaigns for Falls, Download, Yours & Owls, Jack Daniels, Telstra, Ben Sherman, Live Nation, Billions, Handsome and more.
