Reznor and Rogers stick with Beats
Beats staffers Trent Reznor and Ian Rogers will remain with Beats following its acquisition by Apple, it has been confirmed.
Reznor was employed by the technology firm as its Chief Creative Officer, charged by the company to handle the curating side of the music platform.
Sources also confirm that CEO Ian Rogers will stay on with Beats. He previously headed up Topspin Media and worked with the Beastie Boys record label Grand Royale.
Last week, Apple announced it would purchase Beats Music and Beats Electronics for $3 billion, with founders Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre joining the Cupertino, Calif.-based company. The deal is expected to close by Sept. 30. Beats Music boasted about 250,000 subscribers at the time of the announcement.
