It’s all about Post Malone on this week’s pop charts

Streaming king Post Malone is about to set the charts alight with his new 17-track LP Hollywood’s Bleeding.

It’s Post’s third full-length release, and is likely to become the Texan’s second #1 album in Australia, according to midweek ARIA data.

His first chart-topper, 2018’s beerbongs & bentleys, is also on the move and could reclaim a spot in this week’s Top 10.

Meanwhile, Spotify’s Daily Global Chart is littered with tracks from the new album.

Seven of the first ten singles belong to Post, with ‘Circles’ closing in on a mammoth 6 million streams at the time of writing.

Accordingly, streaming activity is triggering a strong reaction on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Circles’, ‘Goodbyes’ ft. Young Thug, ‘Sunflower’ with Swae Lee and ‘Wow.’ priming for new peaks.

Of the four, ‘Circles’ is the most likely to disturb the chart’s podium.

The single currently sits at #5 and could displace Tones And I’s trending hit ‘Dance Monkey’ at the top.

If ‘Circles’ summits the chart, it will be Post’s fourth #1 song in the country following ‘rockstar’ ft. 21 Savage, ‘Psycho’ ft. Ty Dolla $ign and ‘Sunflower’.

No chart is off-limits for Post, with ‘Circles’ recently debuting at #35 on the TMN Hot 100 Airplay Chart.

With Nova and Hit stations upping their support, ‘Circles’ is poised to climb even further on Thursday’s chart, and could well join ‘Goodbyes’ in the Top 20.
