ARIA Charts: Jack Gray Debuts at No. 1 With First Album 'Swimming in Jeans'

Jack Gray has debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Australian Albums chart with his first album, Swimming in Jeans.
The Queensland-born, LA-based singer's debut record has also hit No. 1 on the Vinyl Albums chart and No. 7 on the main Albums list.
“I have no words,” Gray wrote on Instagram on Friday.
“Just thank you… To my team - my mgmt, my label @islandau, everyone involved in the creation of the album… and to YOU. For listening, buying the album, coming to my shows… This means the world.”
The news comes as Gray prepares to perform at Reeperbahn Festival this weekend, followed by shows in the US supporting In Colour.
While Olivia Rodrigo has returned to No. 1 on the main Albums chart with you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, the only new offering in the top 50 this week comes from Victorian folk singer Mietta's debut record, When the Water Stills (No. 49).
Over on the Singles chart, Ella Langley has made it 14 non-consecutive weeks on top with “Choosin' Texas." The Alabama singer's hit song is now the longest-running country song ever to reach the top spot on the ARIA Singles chart. The previous record was held by Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road.”
