Native Tongue adds Bicycle Music to Concord deal
Australian and New Zealand independent publisher Native Tongue has extended its sub-publishing agreement with Concord Music Publishing to include the Bicycle Music repertoire in both territories.
Bicycle Music’s multiple genres and era catalogue includes works by George Harrison, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Robert Johnson, Radical Face, The Polyphonic Spree, Tal Bachman, Fastball, Glen Ballard, Pete Seeger, Marilyn Manson, Tone Loc, Young MC, X, and Sugar Ray.
Native Tongue’s existing deal with Concord Music sees it represent the likes of Mark Ronson, Daft Punk, Pink Floyd, Phil Collins, and Rodgers & Hammerstein.
Concord Music’s chief publishing executive, Jake Wisely, states “Jaime (Gough) and his team at Native Tongue have been excellent partners and personal favourites of our International office, so we are pleased to consolidate all of Concord Music Publishing under their oversight.”
Native Tongue managing director Gough adds, “We are delighted to extend our relationship with Concord Music, one that began in 2010 with representation of the Rodgers & Hammerstein catalogue.
“To add the Bicycle catalogue to what is already such a rich and diverse repertoire of songs is very exciting and a true privilege.
“We look forward to sharing continued success with Jake and the Concord team.”
