Jane English new MD of Music Sales Australia
Music publishing veteran Jane English has been announced as the new Managing Director of Sydney-based Music Sales Australia. English was formerly VP of BMG Music Publishing Asia Pacific (2000-2003), Regional Director of EMI Music Publishing Asia (1997-2000), GM of Warner/Chappell Asia and Warner Bros Music Publishing Australia (1982-1986) and GM of Rondor Music Australia (1978-1982). From 2004-11, English was Director of Jam Music.

Dan Jones expands role
104.7 Canberra’s morning announcer Dan Jones has taken on the additional role of Music Director.

Andrew Orvis to helm Queenscliff Music Festival

Andrew Orvis is the new Festival Director for the Queenscliff Music Festival in Victoria. It is staged for the 18th year from November 28-30. He joined the festival in 2008, most recently as its Operations Manager.

Moment Media owner Ron Creevey has expanded into music venues. Creevey has acquired Sydney’s Piano Room, which he will re-launch in May as a broadcast studio and VIP room.
