Music retailer Leading Edge Group welcomes Charlie Davey

Charlie Davey joins Leading Edge Group Australia as its new head of category on November 26.

He replaces Lee Scott who was with the company for 14 years.

Davey will be working closely with entertainment category manager Adam Shaw to develop and execute LEG’s entertainment strategy.

“It is a real pleasure to be joining LEG,” Davey says,

“I was fortunate enough to join the team in a week of planning, and the collaboration and talent within the team makes me very confident we can achieve great things.”

“In addition to his fantastic experience, Charlie brings his positive and can-do attitude to LEG, and will be a great fit in helping guide LEG through this exciting period of growth.”

Davey has over 27 years’ experience working in category management, merchandise, sales and supply chain in retail, digital and wholesale environments across Australia and the United Kingdom.

He has extensive category experience across multiple verticals, including entertainment, where he held senior positions at WHSmith and Big W.
