Most heard airplay tracks this week – TMN HOT 100

Charts & Music Manager

This week, Meghan Trainor’s All About That Bass wrestles #1 back from Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off, ending Swift’s two-week spree in the top spot. It’s worth noting that it isn’t Trainor’s first time at #1, with All About That Bass sitting at #1 for two weeks earlier in August. At this point it is too hard to say whether or not it will last. Both tracks have been fighting for the spot on the TMN Hot 100 as well as the ARIA Singles chart for weeks, making and losing ground constantly.

At #3 is Calvin Harris & John Newman’s Blame, a new peak for the track which debuted on the Hot 100 at #10 and is currently in its fourth week on the chart. Klingande’s Jubel climbs back to #4 after a few weeks on the decline. It first reached #4 in the second week of August and has yet to peak any higher on the chart. Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj’s Bang Bang remains at #5 for a second week which is a sign that commercial are definitely still invested in this track. Whether or not it will receive enough airplay to break past #5 is a matter of waiting. The Veronicas’ You Ruin Me reaches a new peak this week at #6. The track has been climbing consistently since it debuted at #19 three weeks ago.

Redfoo’s New Thang climbs to #7, a new peak, as Lilly Wood & Robin Schulz’s Prayer In C continues its descent down the Top 10 as airplay stars to fall off. #9 is this week’s most moved track, Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud, which has jumped from #31 to #9, a total of 22 places. The track has only spent three weeks in the chart and is set for a break into the Top 5 if airplay continues to grow next week.

It appears that Nathaniel’s Live Louder may have hit its peak last week at #6 as the track has now fallen to #10. If airplay doesn’t sway in its favour next week then we may be seeing it fall down into the Top 20 this time next week.
