Most Added: Charlie Puth doubles down to narrowly beat G-Eazy
Less than two months out from the release of his next album, radio’s beloved hitmaker Charlie Puth has wrapped up yet another Most Added title with ‘DoneFor Me’ ft. Kehlani. If that wasn’t enough for one week, Puth also makes a featured appearance on G-Eazy’s song ‘Sober’, which takes out a close second.
Overall, ‘Done For Me’ was only added to 29 stations during the week – a relatively low amount for a winning track. However, vital adds from big hitters KIIS, Nova and the Hit Regional Network was enough to seal the deal.
G-Eazy was hot on Puth’s tail, garnering noteworthy attention from Ash London LIVE and the ACE Radio Network. Key misses from Hit national drive and KIIS denied the rapper his first #1 Most Added crown, despite being added to more stations than any other song this week.
Newcomer Robinson enjoyed a stellar first week at radio as Smallzy’s Surgery and the entire Nova Network jumped on boardbreakoutsingle ‘Nothing To Regret’. Halsey’s team-up with Big Sean and British female rapperStefflon Don finished fourth as Ash London provided the main contribution.
The Hit Network snapped up George Ezra’s ‘Paradise’ this week, propelling the single into the Top 5. Melbourne’s Fox FM, Hit105 and Hit104.7 were a few of stations that chose to playlist the song across the board.
