Moshtix announces LatitudePay as buy now, pay later provider

Moshtix has announced an exclusive buy now, pay later (BNPL) scheme with LatitudePay.

With the new partnership, Moshtix customers will be able to pay for their tickets across 10 weekly interest-free instalments after selecting the LatitudePay option at checkout. A similar option is also available for New Zealand customer through Genoapay. Customers will need to have a LatitudePay account to select the payment option.

LatitudePay is currently used for a number of online and brick-and-mortar retail stores, pharmacists, and clinics. It will be the first BNPL provider available through the ticketing platform.

“There’s a lot of synergy between our brands and our customers, and as live events begin to return in 2021, music lovers, festival fans and event-goers will have even greater flexibility to purchase their tickets using LatitudePay through Moshtix,” Latitude chief commercial officer Paul Varro said.

Moshtix managing director Harley Evans said that in the few weeks LatitudePay has been available to customers, the ticketing service has seen increases in basket size by up to 40% when customers pay through Latitude.

“Moshtix’s mission has always been to remove the barriers between the fan and the artist and to ‘make live easy’, and we really believe this partnership will deliver that, giving fans the flexibility to purchase more tickets, and helping event organisers welcome fans through their doors,” Evans said.

“We are excited to see what impact this new offering will have for hot ticket items such as Fresh Produce – a brand new regional concert from the team behind Groovin the Moo which went on sale last week.”
