Moshtix lands exclusive deal as new Bluesfest ticketing provider

Bluesfest has just announced an exclusive deal with Live Nation-owned Moshtix.

Moshtix will become the primary ticketing platform for the iconic Aussie festival from the 2020 event onwards, taking over from longterm partner; Queensland-based ticketing company emedia.

Bluesfest is the latest festival ticketing partner to join Moshtix, which now looks after Splendour in the Grass, Groovin the Moo, Laneway, Spilt Milk, FOMO and more.

“It’s an exciting time for Bluesfest as we prepare to announce our first lineup for the 31st Byron Bay Bluesfest next Easter,” said Bluesfest director Peter Noble OAM.

“I’m really looking forward to working together with the Moshtix and Ticketmaster teams to help us make Bluesfest 2020 the best yet.

The new partnership will see Bluesfest patrons gain access to Moshtix’ first-to-market technologies like its authorised resale platform.

Other benefits will include the ability to have their tickets delivered directly to their Facebook Messenger account via the MoshMessenger bot, and access to support from Moshtix’s dedicated, local customer service team.

“Moshtix is incredibly proud to be partnering with Bluesfest,” said Moshtix managing director Harley Evans.

“We’re thrilled to bring our experience as Australia’s leading festival ticketing provider to the event and ‘make live easy’ for Bluesfest fans through our suite of products and services.”

Moshtix has been ticketing Australian festivals for 15 years and joined the Ticketmaster family in February 2019.

Moshtix has also announced a special deal to celebrate the new partnership, giving punters 15% off when they purchase 4 or more 3-Day or 5-Day Adult or Youth tickets.
