Singapore’s RELE partners with Maven Artist Management to break Aussie acts in Asian region
Singapore-based boutique-styled agency RELE has struck a strategic partnership with Australian artist management company
Maven Agency to break its acts into the Asian region.
Founded in 2014 by Sony and BMG senior executive Ken Outch and music entrepreneur Brendan Burwood, Maven reps Jessica Mauboy, Dami Im, Adam Brand and Travis Collins.
Under this partnership, announced December 18, RELE will represent, grow and bring success to Maven’s artists in South-East Asia, Greater China, Korea and Japan.
The first act the two companies will work on is Jessica Mauboy, who has already had an international profile.
Mauboy has amassed 159 million streams, represented Australia at Eurovision and has worked with acts as Beyonce, Chris Brown and Ricky Martin.
The platinum spinning singer songwriter and actress is set to release new music through her new label Warner Music Australia and make her debut as a coach on The Voice Australia.
RELE was founded in 2019 by one time Sony and Universal marketing executives Esther and Rina Leck.
In early December, it announced that its new board included Gavin Parry, former EVP of digital and business development, Sony Music at Australia & New Zealand and Asia and chair of ARIA Digital Committee, and Hayden Bell, CEO of The Kennel AB, a music publishing, production and management company based in Sweden.
