Concerts Veteran Mark Vaughan to Lead Live Nation’s Promotions Team In ANZ

Live Nation recruits Mark Vaughan to head up the promoter team for the entertainment giant’s concerts activities in Australia and New Zealand as VP – talent and artist development.

Australian-born Vaughan comes to LN with a lengthy resume in concert promoting, most of it spent working shows and tours across Europe.

He enjoyed a long and successful run as partner/promoter at Norway’s All Things Live, the Oslo-based independent promoter where he worked on shows by Rammstein, Justin Bieber, Twenty-One Pilots, Kendrick Lamar, Green Day, Sam Smith, Nick Cave and many more.

Starting today (Aug. 1), Vaughan relocates to Melbourne and works alongside LN’s existing Concert team in this region.

“Bringing in a world-class promoter like Mark Vaughan is a great add to our Live Nation team as he brings in-depth knowledge of Australia, New Zealand and the global touring market, especially as artists continue expanding their tours around the world,” comments Roger Field, president of Live Nation Asia Pacific.

“Mark has a proven track record of delivering hit tours for huge artists, and we look forward to him continuing that success at Live Nation and welcoming him home.”

LN Concerts’ Talent & Touring team each year handles hundreds of trans-Tasman tours, and around the world, working with the likes of Crowded House, Dua Lipa, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Drake, U2, Jay-Z, Post Malone, Billie Eilish, BTS, Pink, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, BTS, and many more.

“For a long time I have been closely following the live market in Australia and New Zealand and admiring the work of Live Nation,” Vaughan adds.

“The team are delivering a stellar roster and growing number of tours from entry-level club acts to stadium artists, and it’s super exciting to come back home and lead a talented, successful and dynamic promoter team.”
