Australian music fans will be able to experience some of the best in K-Pop and rock music festivals when two German events stream into the country.

Europe’s first K-Pop festival, Kpop.Flex, will be streamed post-event. It took place on May 14 and 15 in Frankfurt, Germany, to a sold-out 65,000 punters.

The star-studded cast included EXO’s Kai, Monsta X, IVE, ENHYPEN, Mamamoo, (G)I-DLE, NCT Dream, Dreamcatcher, AB6IX and Oneus.

The global stream is through Stockholm-based platform Doors and viewed in Australia on May 30 from 6pm AEST.

Tickets are $16.95 and are available via Doors.

The stream is an interactive edition of a 90-minute TV special produced by Seoul Broadcasting Systems with behind-the-scenes footage, and allows fans to chat privately with friends or in fandom-specific groups.

Kpop.Flex returns to Frankfurt in June 2023, and debuts at The O2 in London, September 22—24, where 50,000 are expected to experience the show.

The Rock Am Ring Germany returns after a two-year COVID-forced hiatus June 3-5, to a crowd
of between 70,000 and 80,000.

The livestream is free through a partnership with RTL+, the on-demand streaming channel of Bertelsmann’s RTL Group and CTS Eventim, on the festival’s official website.

Among the 70 acts are Placebo, Måneskin, Gang of Youths, Masked Wolf, Bullet For My Valentine, Bush Marteria, Beatsteaks, Jan Delay & Disko No. 1, Lewis Capaldi, The Offspring, Korn, Deftones and Scooter.

It is not known which concerts will be broadcast.

RTL+ premium subscribers can watch Green Day, Muse, and Volbeat headline Rock Am Ring on its app.
