Jeremy Redmore joins the Native Tongue roster

New Zealand artist and songwriter Jeremy Redmore has signed a publishing deal with Native Tongue.

Redmore has spent the past decade as the chief songwriter of rock band Midnight Youth or as a solo artist, while also balancing his own solo career.

His most recent release is Day 60: the third of five chapters that make up his new project The Brightest Flame, a record that recounts a year of upheaval in Jeremy’s life.

The rest of the record will be unveiled over the next few months, leading to its release date of 20th March 2020.

Redmore was previously signed to Native Tongue for his work with Midnight Youth.

“We’re really happy to extend our agreement with Jeremy to include his solo works,” said Native Tongue’s Managing Director Jaime Gough.

“Jeremy is an incredible lyricist and artist, and has produced a beautiful and very personal album in The Brightest Flame.”

For his part, Redmore called the move a “joyful step” in his career.

“Joining the Native Tongue family and having their full support is a massive and joyful step for me in working towards realising my goals as a songwriter – one that consistently brings meaningful, energising works into the world through a variety of different channels” adds Jeremy Redmore,” he said.
