Jaxsta launches One Sheet to help artists curate a ‘shareable music resume’

Song credit database Jaxsta has announced details around its new premium feature Jaxsta One Sheet, in an effort to help artists curate a “shareable music resume”.

Available for Jaxsta Plus members, the new feature allows users to “instantly and easily customise” their online resume to whatever their immediate needs are, without having to pull data from different sources.

An artist’s One Sheet page is mobile friendly, and can incorporate links to social media accounts, streaming service profiles, ticketing outlets and more.

In addition, all information used to build a One Sheet page will automatically link back to releases on Jaxsta’s database, with a complete list of credits.

Jaxsta CEO and co-founder, Jacqui Louez Schoorl, described the new feature as “a game-changer”.

“We have a database of more than 210 million verified credits, and now every one of our 12+ million creatives on Jaxsta can create and share their own One Sheet with the world with a vanity URL, knowing that it is verified and one source of truth,” she said.

The Australian company has been making big moves this year, launching its partnership with global B2B music rights and licensing platform Songtradr back in March.

The partnership comes as part of a five-year exclusive agreement between the two companies, providing another revenue stream for Jaxsta.

Other features of Jaxsta’s premium Plus tier include claiming Jaxsta profiles, prioritising credits, creating credit alerts and access to Jaxsta’s events and markets directory.
