Independent Chart Wrap: Sia moves back to #1, Magic Bones find new peak

Sia’s Elastic Heart returns to #1 on the Carlton Dry Independent Singles chart on what is now its 27th week on the chart. Hermitude’s Searchlight featuring Yeo finds a new peak at #3 from #7. Emily Williams sees a strong debut at #7 with The Way It Is. Two other debuts find their way into the Top 20 with Flight Facilities’ Heart Attack featuring Owl Eyes at #15 and Airling’s Stallin’ at #20.

Sia’s Elastic Heart finds itself returning to #1 on this chart as well, moving up from #5. Magic Bones’ Danger I Amreaches a new peak at #2 up from #17, while Sheppard’s Geronimo returns to the Top 5 at #3 from #11. Four new debuts make their way into the chart with Jenny Broke The Window’s Black Skeleton and Boo Seeka’s Deception Bay entering at #7 and #8, respectively. Courtney Barnett debuts at #12 with Elevator Operator and Ngaiire’s Once at #13.

AIR Albums

The Top 3 remains the same on the albums chart this week with Sia’s 1000 Form Of Fear at #1, Hermitude’s Dark Night Sweet Light at #2 and Seth Sentry’s Strange New Past at #3. Tex Perkins & The Dark Horses’Tunnel At The End Of The Light debuts at #5 while the only other debut enters at #17 from Full Tote Odds’ The Chosen Few. Three re-entries take place this week, the first at #16 from Dipz Zebazios at #16 followed by Sheppard’s Bombs Away at #19 and King Parrot’s Dead Set at #20.
