Independent Chart Wrap: Hermitude takes #1, Sticky Fingers see two re-entries

Hermitude sees a new peak on the Carlton Dry Independent Singles chart, this time landing at #1 up from #2 with The Buzz featuring Mataya & Young Tapz. The track surpassesSia’s three-track hold on #2, #3 and # (Big Girls Cry, Elastic Heart, Chandelier)4. Seth Sentry’s Hell Boy debuts at #7 while Hermitude’s Through The Roof featuring Young Tapz hits #10 up from #12. One last new debut comes in at #18 with Safia’s You Are The One.

The radio chart sees the same Top 3 this week with Sia holding the first two positions and Hermitude at #3. At #4 and #5 are new debuts however, with Courtney Barnett’s Dead Foxand Seth Sentry’s Hell Boy entering. Saskwatch’s I’ll Be fine returns to the Top 10 at #8 from #12 while The Jungle Giants see a re-entry at #9 with Every Kind Of Way followed by a re-entry from Japanese Wallpaper with Forces featuring Airling at #10. One last new debut takes place, this time at #19 with San Cisco’s Magic.

The Album charts sees a familiar Top 3 to last week withSia holding #1 with 1000 Forms Of Fear, Courtney Barnett at #2 with Sometimes i Sit And Think, and Sometimes I Just Sitand Flight Facilities at #3 with Down To Earth. At #4 is a new debut from Planetshakers’ Outback Worship Sessions. Sticky Fingers see a re-entry at #6 with Land Of Pleasure and at #8 with Caress Your Soul.Hermitude’s Hyperparadise returns to #10 from #19 and Courtney Barnett’s The Double EP: A Sea Of Split Peas re-enters at #13.
