Halsey to tread 2019 ARIA Awards stage
Multi-platinum US singer-songwriter Halsey will perform at ARIA Awards in Sydney.
“I have a very special performance planned and I can’t wait to see all my Australian friends,” she revealed in a special announcement this morning.
Dan Rosen, ARIA chief executive stated, “We are thrilled to be able to welcome Halsey to this year’s ARIA Awards as a special guest performer.
“She is one of the most exciting acts in the world right now, a truly original and talented artist. We can’t wait to see her take the ARIA Awards stage!”
Born Nicolette Frangipane, Halsey has since 2015 amassed over 23 billion streams worldwide and sold more than nine million adjusted albums globally.

Her hits include ‘11 Minutes’ with Yungblud (featuring Travis Barker) and ‘Boy with Luv’ with K-Pop superstars BTS.
On April 14, Halsey and BTS broke the record for the most viewed music video debut in YouTube history.
The video for ‘Boy With Luv’ generated a staggering 74.6 million views in its first 24 hours and held the record since.
In Australia, ‘Without Me’ peaked at #2 and remains in the ARIA Singles chart Top 100 after more than a year, and was certified 5 x platinum.
Her third album Manic is due out in January 2020.
The video for the single ‘Nightmare’ from May notched up nearly 70 million views on YouTube.
The new ‘Graveyard’ has notched up 5 million views worldwide since its release last week.
The 2019 ARIA Awards take place on November 27 at The Star in Sydney.
