G Flip becomes face of Kathmandu campaign
Outdoor recreation brand Kathmandu has recruited G Flip to help it roll out its new ‘We’re out there’ positioning.
The brand said there was a natural alignment with G Flip due to the performer’s artistry and passion for music, mental health and the outdoors.
G Flip has worked with the brand in the past, kicking off its partnership with Beyond Blue and performing at the Kathmandu Urban Zipline event in Sydney.
This campaign will position G Flip as the face of the Kathmandu Summer campaign. The social and digital elements are already live, while the television commercial will be launched next month.
G Flip said they were proud to partner with a brand that supports wellbeing, particularly as they have experienced anxiety from the impacts of COVID on touring and performing.
“To help me get through this time, I started working out, going for long walks and being as creative as I can,” they said.
“Mental health is so important, especially right now. I partnered with Kathmandu to help them spread this message and support their important work in this space, such as directly supporting Beyond Blue. We have all experienced lockdown in the last year, and we can’t wait to get out there and experience as much life as we can.”
