Aussies are holding off strong competition from international acts on the ARIA Albums Chart, with Dune Rats and Chillinit securing the Top 2 spots this week.

The pair of local acts finish ahead of new releases from Eminem (#3) and Harry Styles (#5), and Billie Eilish’s resurgent debut LP (#4).

Hurry Up And Wait is the second chart-topper from BMG-signed Brissy lads Dune Rats, after their 2017 LP The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit, and is also the first Aussie album to go to #1 this decade.

Meanwhile, Hurstville-hailing Chillinit debuts at #2 on the Albums Chart, making it his first Top 10 record.

The Octagon is the second album from the Aussie, after lead single ‘Ready For The Pain’ became the #1 trending YouTube video in Australia upon its release.

Louis Tomlinson’s Walls (#6), Meghan Trainor’s Treat Myself (#13), and Kesha’s High Road (#26) also debut on the chart this week.

The Weeknd maintains his stronghold on the ARIA Singles Chart, as ‘Blinding Lights’ racks up a third consecutive week.

After scoring her first Australian Airplay #1 on the TMN Hot 100, Dua Lipa’s ‘Don’t Start Now’ climbs the ARIA Chart too, rebounding up to #2 this week. The Brit’s new single ‘Physical’ debuts at #30.

This week’s other debuts come from Taylor Swift’s ‘Only The Young’ at #31 and ‘Live In Life’ by The Rubens at #46.
