Dean Lewis claims #1 ARIA Singles spot four weeks running
The Dean Lewis rocket just keeps getting higher with the singer securing his fourth week atop both the ARIA Singles Chart and the TMN Hot 100 Airplay Chart with Be Alright.
Currently in Europe for a run of shows before his US tour in October, Lewis has also sold out the entirety of his 2018 Australian Summer tour.
Due to overwhelming demand, Lewis added a final Sydney show at the Metro which promptly sold out and also broke the record at the venue for the most number of shows for 2018.
Be Alright has marked a major turning point for the artist, landing on Spotify’s Global Top 50 as well as the USA Top 50 chart. It’s also been certified Double Platinum in Australia.
Lewis is now the 103rd most listened to artist in the world, garnering 15.5 million monthly listeners despite having not yet released his debut album.
The single has also been added to Apple Music’s global playlists Today’s Hits, Future Hits and Beats 1.
Lewis’ debut EP Same Kind Of Different included the four times Platinum hit Waves, Platinum-selling Lose My Mind and Gold certified Need You Now.
His global streaming count is currently sitting at 400 million spins.
