Dean Lewis’ ‘Be Alright’ goes Gold in the US

Aussie act Dean Lewis is expanding his collection of global accolades for his quadruple ARIA Platinum single ‘Be Alright’.

After touring the US for the past two months, ‘Be Alright’ has been certified Gold in the country as it continues to make an impact on sales charts internationally.

The single has gone Platinum in eight countries (including Australia) and is certified Gold in seven.

Additionally, ‘Be Alright’ has just reached 500 million streams worldwide and is currently the second most Shazamed song in the world.

The Island Records Australia artist transcended format boundaries at local radio with ‘Be Alright’, receiving airplay across CHR, rock and alt stations.

This led to the track topping the TMN Hot 100 airplay chart for eight consecutive weeks, the most weeks running for an Australian artist since Silverchair’s ‘Straight Lines’ in 2007.

Lewis recently kicked off his sold-out headline tour of Australia. Supported by Robinson and Jack Grey, the tour will conclude in Brisbane on December 28 after making stops in all major cities.

He is poised to perform at the 2019 Australian Open in January, as well as making a highly anticipated appearance at Falls Festival.
