Nick Greco on new Beyond The Valley & Pitch Music collective
The team behind the Beyond The Valley festival has launched a new collective called Untitled Group.
It encompasses the various entertainment brands the collective has set up since it began operating Beyond The Valley four years ago.
Nick Greco (Pictured), one of the partners, points out to TMN that all the members of the collective – also Fil Palermo, Mike Christidis, Tom Caw and Christian Serrao – will be involved in all aspects of Untitled Group’s operations.
“We’ve always worked collaboratively, meaning all of us are across all project and can contribute according to their strengths.,” Greco says.
“All our different divisions complement each other, so a free flow of ideas is very beneficial.”
He adds, “Forming a group allows us to create synergy within our brands, in that we can pitch for our group as a whole rather than for individual events.
“It also creates more awareness as to what our group is working on, rather than just dealing on a per event basis.
“A greater focus on touring will allow us to develop even stronger event lineups and help with develop our artists.”
The team already produce over 150+ events annually within Australia and overseas, bringing hundreds of thousands of music lovers together each year.
Together with their flagship events Beyond The Valley and Pitch Music & Arts Festival, the collective also represents boutique event brands For The Love and the upcoming sold-out Grapevine Gathering, Melbourne electronic hub XE54 and Coburg Velodrome Events.
Also part of the portfolio is the long-running, Anyway event series, responsible for over 350 events over the past five years.
There’ll also be a renewed focus on international touring buoyed on by the success of visits by the likes of Wu-Tang Clan.
Touring will be headed up by Pia Del Mastro, who has been heavily involved in touring, stand-alone events and festivals in Australia, UK and Spain.
These have included Stereosonic, Beyond The Valley, Creamfields and sold out national tours for the likes of Anjuna, Deep icon and Lane 8. Del Mastro also manages produces Made in Paris,
Untitled Group will also focus on artist management, already repping Ivan Ooze, Lastlings, Big Words, London Topaz and Jordan Brando.
It’s going to be a busy summer, with Grapevine on Nov 25 (and an intestate version in the works), Beyond the Valley (Dec 28 – Jan 1), For The Love on Feb 17, Pitch Music & Arts over the March Labour day weekend, as well as XE54 every weekend over summer and a few other day parties.
