Atlantic Records has announced the signing of Aussie singer-songwriter Ben Abraham.

It’s a great new deal for the rising composer, following collaborations with the likes of Kesha and Macklemore.

More recently he composed and co-wrote several songs on Grammy, Tony and Emmy-Award winner Ben Platt’s solo debut album.

“I’m really excited to be working with Atlantic Records to release new music. Obviously their legacy is the stuff of legend, but they also have a reputation for taking great care of their artists and I’m excited to see what we can make together.”

“Ben is not only a phenomenal songwriter and musician, but a brilliant singer with an authentic voice of emotional power and intimacy,” adds Atlantic Records chairman & CEO Craig Kallman.

“We’re thrilled to be joining him on what we know will be a deeply moving and compelling musical journey.”

His signing comes hand-in-hand with new single ‘Satellite’, the follow up to his 2016 debut album Sirens.

Abraham’s global profile is ready to go to the next level, after the artist won the 2018 APRA Music Award for Overseas Recognition.

The Melbourne artist was also nominated for Breakthrough Songwriter Of The Year, and has been praised by Beats 1’s Zane Lowe as “a remarkable new singer-songwriter who definitely understands the craft.”

Abraham was previously signed with Inertia, and also supported Kesha during her 2018 Rainbow Tour of Australia.
