Aussie management company teams with top US firm

Australian management company Milton Archer – who helm the careers of The Aston Shuffle, Sneaky Sound System and Hook N Sling – has teamed with American management firm Deckstar.

Deckstar was launched in 2006 by Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenburg, and the late DJ AM, and represents artists such as Blink-182, Waka Flocka Flame, Fischerspooner and Nervo.

The alliance will see the two companies share resources between their existing client pool, while adding new acts.

Milton Archer was formed in 2011 by Andrew Jackson, and recently relocated to the US, where Jackson picked up Sneaky Sound System, as well as writer and producer Styalz Fuego: winner of the 2012 ARIA Producer Of The Year and last year’s APRA Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year for his work on 360’s 4x Platinum album Falling and Flying, which he produced and co-wrote.

Jackson said of the team up: “As our roster continues to reach new heights, my business needs to grow with them. The support and expertise that the team at Deckstar offers will both assist and promote that growth. I’ve known and worked with many of their crew for almost ten years and can’t wait to see what we can do together.”

Deckstar Founder Lawrence Vavra adds: “We’ve admired the work Andrew has done in the dance world for years and believe we share similar visions on the future of the space. Partnering with Milton Archer is an exciting endeavor for our company and we’re looking forward to many great things to come.”
