ARIA Charts: Dean Lewis for #1, Flume eyes a Top 10 debut

With the release of his debut album Friday, Aussie Dean Lewis has his sights set on the ARIA Albums Chart summit.

According to midweek data, Lewis’ A Place We Knew is in contention for the #1 spot this week but will face stern competition from Ariana Grande (Thank U, Next) and a brace of Queen albums (Bohemian Rhapsody & Greatest Hits).

Flume dropped his first mixtape titled Hi This Is Flume to a solid critical reception. Fans are also enjoying Flume’s return, pushing the Aussie to a likely Top 10 debut.

He’s reached #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart twice before with studio albums Flume and Skin, accumulating multiple Platinum plaques in the process.

In light of the popular new Netflix film, Motley Crue will endeavour to reach the Albums Chart Top 10 for the first time in 25 years with The Dirt Soundtrack.

1994’s self-titled album is the group’s highest-charting effort in Australia to date, peaking at #3.
