ARIA Chart Predictions: Skegss march on toward the Top 10
Byron Bay trio Skegss released their debut 15-track album My Own Mess last Friday. According to mid week data, it’s on course to land in the Top 10 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
Back with his first solo studio album in nearly five years, Sir Paul McCartney is eyeing another Top 3 ARIA Albums Chart debut with Egypt Station.
McCartney has 10x Top 3 albums to his name as a solo artist in Australia, dating back to 1970’s McCartney. His two #1 albums, Red Rose Speedway and Band On The Run, were both released with Wings.
The only other Top 50 debuts on the chart this week are from $uicideboy$ (I Want To Die In New Orleans, Top 20) and CCM artist Lauren Daigle (Look Up Child, Top 40).
The late rapper Mac Miller is likely to push up to the Top 10 this week with his most recent album Swimming, after formerly peaking at #21 in August.
