Apple Music partners with Sweat It Out to produce new mix series

Apple Music have announced a new partnership with label Sweat It Out to help deliver a series of new, exclusive mixes.

The series, titled ‘Sweat Selects’, hopes to bolster Australian electronic acts, including those both on and off the Sweat It Out roster.

Launching the mix is WA duo Slumberjack, who are signed to Sweat It Out and are set to release their debut album Dichotomy on January 28.

Speaking of their mix and the series in general, Slumberjack said they were committed to showcasing new music that’s exciting.

“With so much music being churned out weekly, we are constantly striving to find tracks that keep us on our toes and surprise us – a novel sound, a new rhythm or something completely unexpected,” the pair said.

“This mixtape is a collection of such gems, where artists have rejected the status quo and built something unique.”

No timeline has been revealed for the release schedule of future mixes, but acts set to deliver them include Mell Hall and recent Sweat It Out signing Annie Bass.
