Andy Penkow unveils new single ‘The Biggest Hearts Can Break’
Andy Penkow is ready to make a big impact on Australian country radio, with his latest single ‘The Biggest Hearts Can Break’.
Almost 20 years on from when he appeared on Aussie music TV show Popstars, making it to the Top 20, Penkow has found his niche in the country music scene.
The new single is taken from his July EP Chasing The Sun, and with production by ARIA Award-winning Shane Nicholson, this track is another example of Penkow’s immense talent and knack for capturing real and raw emotion in his music.
The EP has made a significant impression on the Aussie country music scene, reaching #5 on the iTunes Country Album Chart and #50 on the iTunes All-Genre Chart.
‘The Biggest Hearts Can Break’ was co-written by country music royalty David Carter of Carter and Carter, and looks set to continue the momentum for the singer-songwriter.
Penkow’s previous single ‘Wildflowers’ was picked up by KIX FM and Foxtel’s new Country Music Television (CMT), as well as making it to #5 on the regional AMRAP Chart.
His work thus far in 2020 has seen Penkow nominated for the 2020 APRA AMCOS TSA-New Songwriter of the Year, and he’s also up for the Male Artist of the Year category for the 2021 Independent Country Music Association Awards.
