Amrap Chart Wrap – WAAX and Tiny Little Houses Top Community Radio Charts
The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the Top 10 tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service.This week sees WAAX hold on to #1 in the Metro Chart while Tiny Little Houses scale the Regional Chart to take the top spot.
WAAX continue their spell at #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart with the short, fast and loud I for an Eye. The Brisbane four-piece have nabbed a spot in SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16 playlist, rotation on FBi Radio and the top spot in 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20. The track has received airplay in every state and territory at Noosa Community Radio in QLD, Valley FM in ACT, Edge Radio Hobart, Hills Radio in SA, 8CCC in NT, 6CKI in WA, 2SEA and Eastside FM in NSW, as well as Ballarat Community Radio, 3RPC, Mountain District Radio and OCR FM in VIC.
Tiny Little Houses have climbed to #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart with Easy, further squeezing into the Amrap Metro Chart at #10. The folk pop single is doing well at stations across Australia, picking up airplay at 4ZZZ Brisbane, Valley FM in ACT, RTR FM and 6DBY in WA, 4RFM, Cairns FM and Bay FM in QLD, Nambucca Valley Radio, Byron Bay FM and 2MCE in NSW, 5GTR, 5THE, Radio Adelaide and PBA FM in SA, as well as Smart FM, Radio Upper Murray, 3RPP and Southern FM in VIC.
Retiree have entered the Amrap Metro Chart at #3 with the avant pop track This Place having picked up rotation at FBi Radio Sydney. The country and western single has amassed airplay across the country at 2AIR, 2GCR and 2WAY in NSW, King Island Community Radio, Rainbow FM and Gin Gin’s Own FM in QLD, Tjuma Pulka FM and Wangki Yupurnanupurru in WA, Tribe FM and Alex FM in SA, as well as 3CR, Phoenix FM, Casey Radio and Melton Community Radio in VIC.
