Amrap Chart Wrap – Oisima and Lenka Top Community Radio Charts

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the Top 10 tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees numerous artists engaging with their local stations while Oisima and Lenka take the top spots in the Amrap Metro and Regional Charts.

Adelaide’s Oisima has reached #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart with the reimagined house number Take your Time. The electronic solo artist has racked up rotation at metropolitan stations across the country, picking up Album of the Week on FBi Radio Sydney’s digital incarnation ‘FBi Click,’ Australian Feature at SYN Melbourne and a spot on RTR FM Perth’s Sound Selection. Lenka has risen dramatically to #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart following a two week run at #10 with her faraway pop single Blue Skies. The official video for the track has been featured via Amrap Pages on station websites across the country including 4ZZZ Brisbane, Harvey Community Radio in WA, Northwest FM and Mountain District Radio in VIC as well as FBi Radio, 2MCR and Nambucca Valley Radio in NSW. The track has garnered further airplay in every state and territory including Coast FM in NSW, King Island Community Radio in TAS, ArtSound FM in ACT, Voice FM in VIC, Cairns FM in QLD, Noongar Radio and Harvey Community Radio in WA and Hills Radio and Tribe FM in SA.

Ben Salter has entered the Amrap Metro Chart at #2 with the jagged rock of Boat Dreams. Watch the vivid official film clip featured via Amrap Pages on station websites including 979 FM in VIC and Edge Radio in TAS. The thunderous track is at #3 in Salter’s hometown station 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20 and has received additional airplay at 5THE in SA, Tjuma Pulka FM in WA, Valley FM in QLD, 979 FM and Triple R in VIC and 2EAR and 2SEA in NSW.

Alt-country three-piece Mark Seymour & The Undertow have debuted at #2 in the Amrap Regional Chart with an ode to asylum seekers entitled Two Dollar Punter. The track has gathered airplay across the country at Gove FM in NT, KCR FM in WA, Artsound FM in ACT, PBA FM in SA, TYGA FM in TAS, Noosa Community Radio and Fraser Coast FM in QLD, 2PSR and 2WKT in NSW, and 3NRG, 3RPC and Mountain District Radio in VIC. Total Giovanni have clawed their way to #3 in the Amrap Metro Chart with the disco single When We Break, also reaching #10 in the Amrap Regional Chart. Melbourne soulstress Rita Satch has entered the Amrap Regional Chart at #5 with the soulful single We Could Have all That. Perth MC Mathas takes #6 in the Amrap Metro Chart with his warm and textural single Free Shit. Listen to the hip hop maestro guest programming Live and Local on his hometown station 89.7 FM. The track is getting rotation on his fellow native station RTR FM as well as FBi Radio Sydney.
