AIR and Moshtix strike partnership for awards, Indie-Con

The Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR) and independent ticketing agency Moshtix have finalised a partnership for the AIR Awards and the Indie-Con conference.

Both are held in Adelaide, the awards on Thursday, July 26 at the Queen’s Theatre, and Indie-Con on Thursday, July 26 and Friday 27.

Moshtix focuses on music events, including festivals and live music venues.

AIR explained its choice of Moshtix: “Since 2003, Moshtix has always stood for the best interests of the fan, being Australia’s first to market with electronic tickets and its authorised re-sale platform.

“Its goal is to ‘make life easy’ by reducing the barriers between the fan and the artist, helping people discover, share and experience the live entertainment they love.

“An active supporter of local and independent music, Moshtix has been a long-term partner of Music SA, Music Victoria, Music WA and is extremely proud to confirm its support as a key partner of the 2018 AIR Awards.”

Moshtix CEO Harley Evans said, “Moshtix is absolutely thrilled to be supporting the 2018 edition of the AIR Awards.

“AIR’s longstanding support of the growth and development of Australia’s independent recording sector is a crucial part of the sustainability of a vibrant national music industry.”

AIR earlier announced entertainment travel specialists The Appointment Group as its travel partner for the two events.
