Rdio US partners with AEG’s ticket-selling subsidiary AXS

Rdio hasannounced an exclusive partnership withAXS, anAEGjoint venture, in the US. Now all AXS.com ticket buyers will automatically be eligible to receive a free, trial subscription to Rdio Unlimited. This deep integration with the live music experience will allow direct engagement with fans, notifying you immediately when new music from bands you’ve enjoyed live is added to our catalog and will help you discover new music that is similar to the artists for whom you’ve purchased concert tickets. Each new Rdio account will be personalized based on prior concert purchases in order to create the best listening experience, bringing artists and their fans closer together.

The trial period will not start until you activate your account, including by downloading the app or playing a song on Rdio.com. Integrated billing through AXS.com will make it simple to extend your Rdio Unlimited subscriptions beyond the trial period if you choose not to cancel. New users who choose not to receive the free trial of Rdio Unlimited, will receive access to our free ad-supported Internet radio service, offering a wide range of curated and personalized stations.
