Will Anderson hoses down Kyle rumours
Comedian Will Anderson was on Hitz FM Bundaberg to hose down rumours sweeping radioland that he was set to take over Kyle Sandilands’ breakfast spot on Southern Cross Austereo’s 2DAY FM. Telling The Pete and Trace breakfast team the story was “all made up”, he gleefully added that he had to go to the SCA Sydney office on other business. He “accidentally” got off on Sandiland’s floor and “walked around really slowly” to keep rumours going.
In the latest in that saga, Sydney’s Sunday Telegraph reported that Sandiland is set to re-sign with SCA for 12-months, even though he pushed for a three-year deal. Whether he got double his current $2 million fee remains to be seen.
