Two Aussie names land support act spots with Bastille and Kesha
In an announcement this morning, Bastille has revealed that they are heading back Down Under – and Nicole Millar will be joining them on tour.
Performing in Sydney and Melbourne in early September, the UK four-piece boast the impressive stat of playing more than 500 shows across six continents in their career.
Millar’s setlist will not doubt include tracks from her debut album Excuse Me, which will be released on June 1 through EMI.
“I’m super excited to be back in Australia after my time in the USA writing and touring,” Millar told TMN.
“Jumping straight into my own headline tour to support my new album Excuse Me, and I’m looking forward to making friends and playing shows with the guys from Bastille. I’ve been a fan of theirs for a while now and it will be fun to share the stage together!”
In other touring news, it’s been six years since Kesha graced us with her presence, and the pop star has today announced that Aussie singer-songwriter Ben Abraham will be joining the Australian leg of the Rainbow tour in October.
The pair already has an established relationship, co-writing the platinum-certified hit ‘Praying’, and Abraham last wowed local audiences with his annual run of Christmas shows.
