MUSEXPO returns to Hollywood with “international focus” to make the music industry “a better place” for artists, fans

Another US-based global event that attracts Australians – MUSEXPO, the annual “United Nations of Music” – returns to Hollywood between April 29 – May 1.

It aims to inspire new ideas and business innovation with a global focus.

MUSEXPO founder Sat Bisla sums it up as “passionate music fans coming together who happen to be forward-thinking artists and independent companies and entrepreneurs with a global vision.”

Bisla reckons that his background in radio has taught him one thing – just schedule one pane; at a time, rather than a number of them to hit many targets.

This way everyone absorbs what is being discussed.

Bisla has also said, “Another key aspect is that we intentionally keep the event’s delegate size to a smaller capacity than most other conferences.

“The reason for this is that the networking aspect of the event is one of the key reasons it was birthed in the first place.

“Our goal is to create a platform where key executives and decision-makers, as well as up-and-coming companies and individuals with amazing ideas, can come together to interact and not only meet, but maintain relationships with their peers.”

One of this year’s focus is the A&R process, through panels and seminars with successful and innovative A&R minds, and a keynote from multi-award winning Diane Warren.

Among those participating already are:

Aton Ben-Horin – Global VP, A&R, Warner Music Group;

Craig Kallman – Chairman & CEO, Atlantic Records Group;

Dom Rodriguez – Managing Director, EKKO Music Rights, USA;
