Most Added: Kylie was, and always will, be radio’s treasure

Commercial radio has not forgotten about Kylie Minogue. Aftera stint on the sidelines, lead single ‘Dancing’ is the Most Added song to radio, the second straight week an Australian artist signed to a Mushroom label has taken the crown (following Vance Joy last week).

Kylie proved she still has what it takes, with each commercial radio network taking action. Across-the-board adds came in from the Nova, Hit and KIIS networks, Hit Regional, MIX 94.5 and Ash London LIVE.

Her main rival was Rudimental’s radio-made single ‘These Days’ ft. Jess Glynne, Macklemore andDan Culpen. The song drew attention from most stations across the country, but failed to pick up an all-important add from the ACE Radio Network.

Australian country artist Keith Urban is steadily increasing his stature at commercial radio as new single ‘Parallel Line’ snatches #3 from Dua Lipa’s ‘IDGAF’. As expected, both smooth stations added Urban, as did the Hit Regional Network.

Stalwart Drake rounds out the Top 5 this week with new track ‘God’s Plan’. It was picked up by Smallzy’s Surgery and received a handful of afternoon additions on various Hit stations.
