After peaking at #4 on the Hot 100, Jessica Mauboy’s ‘Fallin’’ is surging back up the chart. It’s at #27 this week, climbing eight frames. Meanwhile, follow-up soundtrack single ‘Then I Met You’ loses traction this week andplummetsto #31 from #24.
Going nuts for Dean
The spins are slowly accumulating for Sydney singer Dean Lewis. ‘Lose My Mind is in the highest position it’s been on the Hot 100 so far and has consistently been progressing up the chart for seven straight weeks. His previous single ’Waves’ peaked at #16 on the chart in May.
A lasting friendship
Although not Australian, Justin Bieber & Bloodpop deserve a mention. ’Friends’was the most played track on CHR stations in October with 3,271 total spins. Nova Melbourne spun the track the most with 235 spins, while Nova Sydney was only a spin behind. ‘Friends’ now equals ‘What Do You Mean?’ for number of weeks spent in the Top 3.
