The agenda for Shepparton’s inaugural music conference has been revealed, while the Electronic Music Conference (EMC) has also unveiled details of a masterclass for EDM talent.
Shepp Music Week is based in Shepparton, the multicultural and First Nations music capital of regional Victoria.
It is held on Kaieltheban land in Yorta Yorta country from Monday March 7 to Saturday 12.
The week-long event coincides with The Push’s All-Ages Tour, with performances from Kaiit, KIAN, Aprilis, Vince The Kid and Mistykid, on Friday March 11.
It closes with a live event, Baiyiya Yapaneyepuk (‘Song Together’) on the next day with Yorta Yorta talent Bricky B, DJVM, Isaiah Firebrace, Lillie Walker and Shanikwa AJ.
You can find the full agenda for Shepp Music Week below.
EMC’s Masterclass program, meanwhile, sees Nina Las Vegas, Human Movement and Setwun each hosting an all-day Masterclass as part of EMC’s April 5 one-day conference, The Reboot.
Each will spend a full day with 25 participants, with three 90-minute sessions across three pillars Create (music-making), Perform (live performance development and DJing) and Amplify (marketing, branding, promoting, engaging with fans, brands and media, online and offline).
For $50 + fees, delegates get a choice of host for the day plus lunch, sunset drinks, and access to the conference’s Sanctuary Social space, all at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney.
