Caitlin Harnett and The Pony Boys release ‘Bowlo Bitter’ collaboration with Young Henrys
Aussie brewery Young Henrys has partnered with alt-country band Caitlin Harnett and The Pony Boys for a limited edition ‘Bowlo Bitter’ beer.
In the tasting notes, Young Henrys described Bowlo Bitter as “a thirst-quenching beauty, deep gold in colour with subtle grassy overtones from some good old Aussie Cascade hops”. The new brew will be available from mid-January kegs at select venues and bowling clubs.
“Inspired by the band and brewery’s joint love of the local bowlo –a place where you can enjoy a frosty schooey of amber nectar in your hand, grass between your toes and the dulcet country tones of the breeze,” a statement read.
The brand collaboration comes alongside a regional NSW tour, presented by Young Henrys, where the band will perform at a number of bowling clubs in Newcastle, Byron Bay, Wombarra and Petersham. Entry to the gigs is free.
Caitlin Harnett and The Pony Boys released their debut studio album, Late Night Essentials, back in November. The band also took home the 2020 National Live Music Award for Best Live Act in NSW.
