Women In Music Empowerment Day announces full live and panel lineups

Women In Music Empowerment Day is back in 2018 and it’s bringing with it a stunning lineup of performers and speakers.

The all-day event will take over Newtown venue Miss Peaches on Sunday, October 7 with performances from the likes of Al Dente, ARIG, Caitlin Medcalf, Clarissa Mei, C.Sauce, Deep Tan, Freda Frequency, Good Pash, Harley Mavis, Isa, Jannah Beth, Lady King and Mothers Club.

Alongside the live music will be live performances from Jen Brady, Morus Quinn.

It will also feature a live panel facilitated by journalist Paige Leacey in conversation with DJ and event producer Ayebatonye, ‘s Heidi Lenffer, Audiopaxx’s Helena Ho and Mellum PR founder Udaravi Widanapathirana.

The panel will discuss the challenges faced by non-male and minority groups in the music industry and workshop strategies to improve the overall environment for all in the community.

Women In Music Empowerment Day is curated in collaboration with Deeper Than House, Stayfly Sydney, Yeah The Girls, Coven Presents, Nap Girls and Bedrock Collective.

More performers and panellists will be announced in the coming weeks.
