Laneway Festival has appointed a new General Manager ahead of its 22nd edition.
The Music Network can exclusively reveal that Jade Skelly will step into the role, having worked in the same position for Splendour in the Grass since 2019.
Skelly brings over 20 years of experience in artist management, TV, content production and festival leadership to Laneway Festival, and has also held senior roles at other major events like Big Day Out and Download Festival Australia.
She has also worked as an Artist Live Performance Manager for the ARIA Awards and worked with Channel [V] and triple j.
“I’ve always been a fan of Laneway," Skelly told The Music Network.
"What Danny, Jerome and the team have created is really special, and I feel incredibly lucky and excited to now be a part of it from the inside.”
Skelly will take over from Jessie Parker, who announced her departure last week.

“Reflecting on where it all started back in 2010 as an Event Assistant, I never could have imagined the wild, rewarding journey ahead,” Parker said in a statement at the time.
“To go from managing resident comms and running accred around the site, to leading six simultaneous touring events across Australia and New Zealand has been the privilege of a lifetime.”
Organisers for Laneway this week announced the dates and venues for 2027. The festival will return to Centennial Park on Friday, February 12th, before heading north to Brisbane Showgrounds on Saturday, February 13th. The following weekend, it will return to its longtime Melbourne home at Flemington Park on Friday, February 19th, before wrapping up across the Tasman at Auckland’s Western Springs on Sunday, February 21st.
The lineup remains under wraps for now, with the first artist announcement expected in late September.
