A Women In Electronic Music Industry Roundtable is held on June 18 between 3 to 5pm to discuss how to tackle the gender balance within electronic music with practical and achievable steps.
It is a joint initiative by MusicNSW, Vivid Ideas and EMC (Electronic Music Conference).

Roundtable participants will be invited by MusicNSW and EMC, however additional tickets are available for those keen to observe or participate in discussions.
The Roundtable will be followed by a free electronic music showcase from 6 pm to 11 pm on the rooftop of the MCA. Performing are Banoffee, Rainbow Chan, GL, Habits, BUOY and Mira Boru.
MusicNSW also teams up with the world’s first Ableton dedicated music production school Liveschool to present a series of masterclasses. The first two are by two of its training staff, Elizabeth Rose and Kučka (Laura Jane-Lowther) on June 6 and June 22 for beginners. More sessions will be announced shortly.
With a focus on the essential skills to make electronic music and getting the most from one’s creative ideas, Liveschool offers courses for beginners and advanced students covering all aspects of modern music production including mixing, remixing, synthesis, music theory and arrangements. Liveschool graduates include Anna Lunoe and Tashka.
